"Intuition" Week #40 - lyrics

 "Intuition" Week #40
Words and music by Susan Busatti Giangano

The day is hard. The clock is half asleep
But all is well and that I know
A little voice keeps telling me so
I trust the feelings deep inside of me
Intuition, I listen when you're little voice is telling me to

There was a young girl coming home, was late at night
Pulling up to her front door, she knew that something wasn't right
A little voice was shouting softly
"Don't you leave the car!
Stay where you are! Stay where you are!"

The day is hard. The clock is half asleep
But all is well and that I know
A little voice is telling me so
I trust the feelings deep inside of me
Intuition, I listen when you're little voice is telling me to

So as this young girl turned the motor on, began to leave
Lights appeared from nowhere
On the car behind
Thought it was empty
She drove around the block
She circled twice and so did he
And she thought
"No! This won't be me! This won't be me!"

The day is hard. The clock is half asleep
But all is well and that I know
A little voice keeps telling me so
I trust the feelings deep inside of me
Intuition, I listen when you're little voice is telling me to

Take a walk alone and listen to the silence
It is wise
Though it shows up strong... a giant
Cannot be seen with naked eyes
Do we listen when it shouts a piercing "No!"
I do! I don't ask why!
